Why did they remove the Ranked AUTOLOCK Feature

Like what's the point? We have blind pick, ARAM, Twisted Treeline and other traditional pick games where you select a champ and it locks it in for you. But for ranked they NEED to kick you even though you selected a champion. Why did they even do this, remove it from all game modes then. Dangit.
