Lunar Wraith Event and the Availability of older skins

Hey guys, great game, thanks a million for your hard work and dedication. You guys rock.

I wanted to post a few thoughts and see what the communities thoughts are about the Lunar Wraith Skin for Caitlyn and It's Achievement Chroma.

So I started playing lol... wow, before Irelia was released. My buddy wanted me to try this new game, I'd never played MOBA's or anything like it. I DL'd it and gave it a try. He'd get me to do Twisted Treeline, which as far as I'm concerned, was the only game mode at the time. To get me to play with him more he bought me the Noxus Poppy skin for my birthday.

Back then she could be built as an assassin and It was just... Tremendous. I played her all the time and my Noxus Skin was on deadlock.

So when Noxus Poppy went into the Vault I had begun to feel a true sense of...pride and accomplishment. My buddy got me that skin, and though were older and farther apart, I can feel the fist bump like a thump in my heart. When the vault was opened, I was a little elitist about my skin, of course, it's one of the things that makes us gamers.

So fast forward some odd years, I play primarily ADC and my main girl is Caitlyn. I think the only skin I don't have is Pulsefire (Gift gift wink wink what what) But I was happy to get the Lunar skin, and it's my goto when I want to do a more bursty pen build. (Before it was thunderload)

I log into the event and BAM! Golden Lunar Cait skin! Whaaaat? can I buy it? NO! achieve only son! (I...my pants...rito plz) I am so happy to have the opportunity to nab that skin. Then I noticed, wait... The skin's back on sale? Now this makes perfect sense, I mean I only have one tiny opinion in a sea of pinions, but it did get me thinking to myself. "Suddenly having the Achieve doesn't really mean as much. I mean Anyone can buy the skin to join that group, so naturally anyone who does that can have the chroma." It made me feel like I wasn't special for having that before hand. And one of the joys with the legacy and event skins is like that moment suddenly meant something. It's a feeling that's actually pretty difficult to describe.

I think, if you released a Gold/White Recolor (DO IT) of the Noxus Poppy Skin and it was achieve related, and Noxus Poppy didn't go on sale- I would do thousands of Missions, this of course isn't very profitable in the short term, but it does help with playability IMO. As it stands, I'm about 40/50 tokens from the skin, but I really am not as stoked about doing more matches for it as I was when I thought I was entering a new echelon of Caitlyn Play. Someone can Just buy the original and do the achieve. not as much P&A (Pride and Accomplishment) I mean one accomplishment skin out of like 6 isn't that bad.

I dunno sorry for the long post. Just wanted to hear anyone else's thoughts on the legacy skins and their subsequent re-releases

TL:DR Feeling like butthurt elitist because I want my special lunar cait skin to be achieved only and special.
