Need a new starting item to match manaless champions

_PLEASE READ EVERYTHING UNTILL THE END TO GET A COMPLETED IDEA ABOUT MY GOAL _

Season 2018, aka: Season 8, the season where manaflow band and precision: mind, transforms champions like Orianna and Kassadin in manaless, or at least i feel like this whenever i fight against them in lane. And the beloved starting item Doran's Ring giving them even more mana regen, and after this EVEN MORE mana regen.

HOW LOVELY! Jhin

So i think an item to race against item 1056 would be welcome to league, and here is my idea: https://imgur.com/uPO6vcu

Player : Oh, but that item looks sooo broken, don't even think at it, no no no, too broken.

And here i come with an image where i took both Doran's Ring and my Abysall Ring to compare (into an end, i designed the item to match Doran's Ring perfectly) :

If you don't belive me, then go on wiki and check for you, and do the math, oh wait, don't do that, i already did that for you:

For those who hate the 67% HP Regen stat and are thinking it can race against Rejuvenation Bead, i'm remembering you from now the existence of the Faerie Charm. item 1006 item 1004 Rejuvenation gives 50% HP regen, my item gives 67%, meanwhile the Charm gives 25% Mana regen and Dorna's Ring gives 50%, don't try to add this in comments, since my item is more fair than Doran's Ring when talking about Regeneration.

Final notes: Is a starting item and every one can buy it, so that makes it even more fair, since you can always have an enemy that got the same starting item as you!

HERE IS THE WIKI ANYWAY

IF THE ITEM IS STILL BROKEN, IT CAN BE FIXED BY MAKING THE MOVE SPEED AND THE HP REGEN UNIQUE PASSIVES, SO CHAMPIONS LIKE VLADIMIR WILL NOT STACK THE ITEM LIKE PRO PLAYERS DID WITH DORAN'S RING LAST YEAR IN LCS WHEN THE CURRENT UNIQUE PASSIVE WASN'T UNIQUE.

but they already have the advantage of not having mana

All i have to say is this, how do you think we felt when mana issues were a thing and manaless champions just bullied you out instantly? hate to break it to you but you hardly have the first dibs on vsing a champion that NEVER RUNS OOM!

I agree champions with infinite mana is an issue which includes mana users and monstrosities like riven, yasuo, ect ect, maybe it would be fine with resource less champions were denied hard CC and only had soft CC like trynd.

Would arguably need to cost (500) full starting gold for it, because you wouldn't even need potions with that item -- and it'd be a wet dream for some champs.

No, because this adds the defensive buffs of shield and the offensive stats of ring together without a real trade off for manaless champs.

Manaless champs already have an advantage in early laning in that they can never run out of mana. The trade off is meant to be that they dont have access to certain items that they would want.

This item is a Katarina or Akali's dream item. And OP plays a ton of Akali. Early health, Health regen, MS, AP and a health on kill passive. Plus you could still rock 2 pots with it.

The item's stats alone, not including the health per kill passive, are worth 732.25 gold. That means that the item is 183% efficient. Without its passive.

I'd buy that.

This is the perfect case of numbers matching =/= balanced item. Manaless champions need to pay for their manaless status or else they become too strong. Can you imagine a Katarina with your starting item? Or god forbid an Akali top, we already have issues with her and she starts a less than ideal item... Maybe at a 450g price point it would be ok, but even then why bother when you can start dark seal refillable and get a higher gold value after one base?

You do realize that tanks will end up buying this and be broken with all of this extra health regen correct? Look at what every other Doran's item gives. Blade: AD - HP - Life Steal Shield: HP - flat regen - little extra last hitting - recovery after damaged Ring: AP - HP - mana regen - last hitting regen

Each one has their own thing, but also stays within the same realm as each other in what they give.

Your item however... Abyssal Ring: AP - HP - % HP Regen - movement speed - last hitting regen

Your item gives things to give it things, it doesn't stay within the realm you're trying to appeal to (manaless champions), but instead gives things to every champion that has an AP ratio be it mage, tank, or otherwise making its intended audience unclear and the item itself unbalanced as a starter. You aimed for balancing out the gold value, but not the item itself.

You might also want to do the math on what the item's "gold efficiency" is as well.

By making this an item you are actually making broken champs EVEN MORE BROKEN!!!!

Gnar would buy this to make his already non-existent weak earlygame even stronger

Akali Would buy this and bully toplaners even harder than she does now

Katarina would buy this so she couldn't lose lane EVER

All ADCs would buy this and take manaflow band so that they won't ever die in lane and we'll be stuck back into the state the game was last patch(overheal + fleet footwork)

This item is asking for Manaless champs to dominate the meta. Stop it. Get some help.

You'd fit in perfectly with the current balance team!
