Xin Zhao Crescent Guard R bug??!!

So im trying to figure out if im crazy or if an actual bug is going on. Before the most recent patch Xin's R would knock away heimerdingers Turrets to isolate him, i played multiple games where that no longer happens. Does anyone know why or am i crazy and it never happened? Talk to me Goose!
