honestly what I thought they'd do is, they'd pair up 10 players like they used to. but then would try to put people in their primary role.

like

step 1 - put people into primary roles on a team

step 2 - put anyone pidgeonholed into their secondary role if available.

step 2.5 - check to see if a secondary role can kick a primary to secondary and make everyone happy

step 3 - assign the remainder to "fill"

step 4 - give players the ability to swap.

did anyone else think they'd do it this way, or something similar? seems like the way they chose to do it had problems from the start, and still does now...
