Black Screen when entering Champion Select

As the title says...

I am aware of many others, including myself, experiencing this issue. I am wondering if there are currently workarounds to this (aside from deleting friends from your friends list; I will not do that)... And when will the issue be fixed?

I just now got a dodge timer because of it... So it isn't really my fault.
