idea for twisted fates ult

i was just wondering riot since twisted fates ult has two actives to reveal all enemies and then the gate I sometimes just ult to find out if there on objectives like dragon or baron I had a thought if we don't use twisted fates gate should the cooldown on his ult be reduce by a little or would this be too over power for his ult ?
