So much more potential for Ashe

First, I would like to say that I really like the new Ashe update. Her new Q is awesome!

Although, I will say that her E seems lackluster to me still. It travels slowly, and reveals for a short amount of time and has a long cooldown. I'm still afraid to use it just in case I may need it a minute or two from now but it might still be on cooldown. Let's not forget she is still an immobile champion and still suffers against ALL the SAME champions and skill types from before. Basically, she still gets destroyed by enemies with gap closing abilities. That has not changed, and the way Riot is going with the game, mobility will still be meta. Kind of disappointed to not see any alleviation from that.

But I have mixed feelings about her new passive. Her old passive was useless 90% of the time. It was great in mid/late game if you were in a bush waiting for the enemy AD/AP to come by, and you open up with R, 100% crit chance auto, W, and then one more auto (hopefully it crits) before her ult wears off, but by then the enemy AD/AP is dead or almost dead. You get to walk away with over 90% of your health. Other than that it served no other purpose.

Her new passive is great for the lane phase, and still good mid game but falls off late game. The burst that other ADs get from critting completely overwhelms her bonus damage late game.

Riot emphasized her as the UTILITY marksmen or UTILITY AD with the new update (atleast in the patch notes). When I see the word utility, I think of things like stuns and slows (which she has) but next to marksmen/ad, I think of steroids, lifesteal, and CDR. However, her new passive still utilizes crit and this is the downfall of the new passive. It has a lot of potential but since it still scales off crit, she still has to build like any other normal Attack Damage Ranged Carry. Basically, she still builds the same core items as everyone else even though she is a UTILITY marksmen. I've tried different builds but IE and PD/SS are the best items for her still.

I would have liked to build Youmuu's or BC instead of LW (I guess you still can but the armor pen from LW is probably better than either of those items). It's so much fun to get your Q up and pop Youmuu's for a big steroid or get all 5 stacks of BC off one auto attack (the 20% CDR from it is nice too, since her steroid is such a long cooldown). However, it still probably is not worth it, or it's just too expensive to buy those items. Hurricane is another item that I would like to build for her, but you need crit from PD/SS. So that's out of the window. Frozen mallet and Blade of the Ruined King would be another fun item to build along with Hurricane and her passive, and really just being an ACTUAL utility marksmen.

After trying some of these more fun/interesting/unique builds, I would say the typical IE/PD build is still the best build out there.

Her Q allows her to build something new, but her passive diminishes that. It's ironic how that turned out because her old passive was similar, she was an AD with the incentive to not attack. She is now the AD that can build something new, but her crit diminishes that incentive.

Maybe I have to play around with the build a little more but I would prefer less emphasis on crit/crit damage on Ashe, and more emphasis on CDR, movespeed and slows. (Hurricane and FM sound so fun on her! Probably won't work though)

What do you guys think? Any unique builds that you have tried and actually works?

P.S. I feel like her ultimate missile speed is slower but I can't tell for sure; a bug perhaps.
