Champion Select Lock in

I feel like the champion select lock option needs to go. Very rarely does it ever actually serve its purpose of starting the game early. If anything it just allows people to lock in and knock someone out of the lane they called. Or someone will join the chat, say a lane, then lock in without anyone having the chance to correct them. Of course the latter incident is completely an accident (or not) it would be nice to have a way to correct them.
