As of right now, gettin 100 points is more exciting than promos in my opinion. Wins streaks and good interaction is more common. Earning 100 points requires more time and games. Once I enter promos, most cases I lose 2 consecutive right off and the build of 100 points begins again. Promo series emphasize the luck element that is within matchmaking and make your hard earned 100 irrelevant to the climb. You could earn 100 points 10x over on win streaks...but if you cant get lucky on promos. Youre stuck. Idk feels lame overall just my thought

There shouldnt be promo series. The 100 points is you proving you should be higher. Making that extra step that is luck based applied to a skill based game seems unnecessary and causes more disappointment and stress than it does the excitement of being in a "series to promote"

I realize they're trying to change that by giving us a free win upon subsequent entries into the promo series, but that feels like a gimme...a free win? If anything every time you make it to promo that gains you a win in the series, so if someone makes it 2x to 100 points, they promote upon reaching 100. That way, people are still proving they are worthy of promotion, but not wasting their time playing games. Also, it will allow people who are still better to promote quicker up the system. This will give people better rewards for their time, and still keep players from progressing beyond their skill level, either way, everyone will eventually reach their sticking point.

I also think a duo queue of the same rank should not be faced against better players to compensate. There is no need to compensate. If 2 duo queue players are shredding through the ranks, then hell yes they deserve to make it as far as they can, once again they will reach a sticking point at which duo queue will mean nothing, but to be matched up against people to hinder their progression just because, that sort of throws the need for divisions and ranks out the window and may as well be draft pick based on MMR only for exhibition. It's like silvers being matched up against gold ranks to progress OUT OF SILVER. That logic makes no sense. Progressing out of silver means you played numerous silver players and prevailed, therefore you must prove amongst gold and so on.
