Lets talk about Dragons!
Infernal Drake: 8/16/24% more AD and AP. Ocean Drake: Restores 4/8/12% of missing HP and Mana every 5 seconds. Earth Drake: 10/20/30% bonus true damage to epic monsters and turrets. Cloud Drake: 2/4/6% Movespeed, out of combat 6/12/18% movespeed.
Vs
Old Drake = 180 gold per player.
180 Gold x 5 = 900 gold for the team.
AD required to surpass old drake = 6 AD. 5 old drakes = 30 AD.
AP required to surpass old drake = 9 AP. 5 Old dragons = 45AP
68 HP regenerated to surpass old drake. 5 old dragons = 340 HP regen'd.
36 Mana regenerated to surpass old drake. 5 old dragons = 180 Mana Regen'd.
15 Movespeed in or out of combat to surpass old drake 5 old dragons = 75 movespeed.
Damage is too difficult to calculate.
If we take a look at that. The current drakes are a massive part of the reason why snowballs have been so bad for the last few years.
If we want to address snowballing I say we start actually talking about Rift Herald, Baron, and Drakes.
Way back when!
Players could opt to give up a singular tower for dragons and the trade would be worth. Now, its situational as to which one is worth.
Never give an infernal for a tower.
Never give an tower for a ocean.
Just wanted everyone to know a little bit about causes of snowballs!
(Also, these drakes make scaling for assassins and late game hyper carries much easier.)
