Ranking System Idea

So Most of you may not know but in the game CSGO the rank system is like league but there is no "points" when it comes to ranked. The way it works in CSGO is when you play your rank decreases or increases based on your individual performance. So say you win a game and do good and loose a game but still perform really well and maybe even a lot better for people your rank, you may still rank up if you win the next game. I think in league this would be a lot better of a ranking system, personally I don't like the LP system in league and I have heard multiple people say this about league. So if instead of having LP if you did well in matches and won matches you should be put into your promos/series. I think this could be a good idea, tell me what you guys think.
