Is this a QQ board? Why nerfs instead of buffs? Buffs leads to diverse meta.
Tl;Dr: Buff champions to counter strong ones to create a diverse meta.
All I see in this board are oh x class/champion is op they have x ability to do y. Then the meme phrase "Anti Fun Kits". I am hundred percent sure people QQ'ing about shit has made the the game the way it is now. You know why nautilus rose in top lane? The piece of shit can't be killed by anyone cuz everyone is so weak! Same with malphite etc... . Soon with all of these nerfs Mf ulti will do 1 damage a second and everyone will have 10 health.
What I notice is that once a wave of patch 6.(n) champions get nerfed, champions that haven't had changes for a while arise in patch 6.(n+1) and so on for patches 6.(n+x). I am a piece of shit mid-silver mmr jungle main I do not know anything about lane match ups, but I am pretty sure buffs would weaken strong champions without directly nerfing them which would result in a diverse meta that is good for game health. Lets pretend Nasus is super strong
Ok riot you can do two things
- Nerf Nasus he is not meta, The meta becomes less diverse with 1 less pick
- Buff Teemo/ Olaf, Nasus stays meta somewhat and two more picks arise, so meta becomes more diverse
All I see in low elo is shit like master yi, shyvana(abusing her to climb ayy lmao), and (insertDevourerJunglerhere).
You know why I think they are so strong? There are no fucking wards in the game so it is harder to pressure with vision game, and everybody is weak early so mid and early game isn't spontaneous so these farmers scale and dominate.
Now instead of nerfing devourer lets say they buff warrior/echoes/chulk in someway. What would happen is that devourer junglers would actually be pressured early. Now instead of nerfing Shyvana and clan, if riot made mid/early game champs strong Shyvana would get weaker and there would be a more diverse meta with mid and early gamers like Hecarim, Sejuani, and Kindred.
Now I am not saying completely stop nerfs but I think it would be nice to see the numbers of buffs surpassing the amounts of nerfs. There are champions that need direct nerfs because nobody counters them like Lux who is strong at the same time as assasins WTF? OR Shyvana, just too much stats and clearspeed.
We also need to make objectives worth something to get early game because dragon buff is so ass right now especially for early dragons so teams can not contest them. Right now games just last too long, one team makes a mistake and it is over no matter if they were in the lead or losing slightly which is not cool. If riot buffed dragon more I think the game would become more interesting.
