Battle Boss Blitzcrank

Is it just me or does Battle Boss Q act very, very weird. Everygame I play against this skin it always looks like the hand never touches me yet I get pulled. It feels like the animation doesn't go as far as the actual pull so it feels like some invisible thing always grabs you instead.
