People ban Illaoi because she's the latest release. Every new champion goes through this phase. Consider it her initiation to league.
if anything, shes going to get buffed. shes underperforming atm.
You know that debuff goes away if you just kill 3 tentacles, right.
She needs buffs. reason why people ban her is so noone in their team would pick her. U literally need to be playing with 1 hand missing 4 fingers to lose to illaoi on lane.
People ban this champ because they didn't buy enough cd reduction for the side step ability.

People ban her for the same reason they ban Tahm. And that reason is not because they are op lol

She's a really strong champion. She's simple but it's really hard to perform properly with her if you're inexperienced. :P Her scaling is obnoxious... lol
