Let's discuss Sylas
I've really liked this champion since it's release. The design of the champion in terms of gameplay is fun and it couples with his cool backstory. The problem is he currently feels weak in a solo lane and in jungle due to the nerfs to his passive. His laning phase is so bad against a majority of the mid roster. The wave clear allowed him to get through it. He also takes a ton of dmg in the jungle but the AoE from his passive allowed clear quick enough that you'd be fine. I also feel like his mana costs gate him from being able to trade and farm. If you try to trade you end up going oom pretty fast and then can't farm from range either.
I feel he needs to be given something back or be provided with a higher mana pool/regen so he can farm in lane against ranged. He does scale well but it takes so long to get there especially when you're forced to go down in CS in lane in most matchups.
Suggestions - Only needs 1 of these more than likely to bump him to a better state.
- Give back damage on passive to either minions or monsters so he has at least one role he succeeds in if you don't want both.
- Increase mana pool/mana regen. Mana costs are fine but he gets too little back when used on minions due to the continual nerf to his wave clear. Allowing him to just cast more often, you can use your Q to farm from a range but not wipe the wave cause the damage is still nerfed.
Quality of life suggestion
- I'd like to see the knock up from Abscond be increased to at least .5 or the animation to not lock you as long as the enemy actually gets to attack you faster than you can. This doesn't seem fair as the aggressor and the one who landed the cc.
