Something noobs dont know about the worlds champion pool

stage 1

the majority is good teams the minority is GREAT teams

nobody gives a shit about good teams and nobody is going to reveal their picks unless they want to grab some early wins with a dark horse pick or a troll pick.

stage 2

The weak are getting weeded out, suddenly picks begin to change up and new variations of the same teams appear

stage 3

Ok its getting serious now, people are trying to literally ban out specific players.. usually freaks like bjorkerson or flaker. Nobody gives a shit about good but not anime protagonist level good assholes like dimes'r'us or imapootipie

stage 4

everyone loses their minds and are now playing these weird comps or playing champs in strange ways because its time for #BIGWORLDSPLAYS and theyre winning games you didn't think they could and karthus is getting quadra kills and ori+kog are losing matches after going undefeated for the entire tournament and everything you thought you knew gets flipped on its ass because everyone was saving the big bombs for this one literally multimillion dollar moment.

TL;DR

worlds is not about fun. You get ready for the final match before it ever begins. The meta at the beginning will not be the absolute meta at the end though it may persist somewhat but not in the same state as the beginning. There will be a lot more variety after this. In fact, sometimes people just pick stuff because they think its OP or so someone else cant get it because they again think its op or something. These ppl often lose to dark horse picks or thigns of this nature. Don't watch the early games for variety.
