Suggestion for how to deal with leavers

I am so sick and tired of people leaving my game. I've just had a series of ranked games where in 80% of them someone trolled, left, afk'd or RQ'd. I've been trying to leave Gold for ages now, and sometimes, after a winning streak, I get a streak of people who do the above several times in a row. Why is it, if someone decides to troll or leave, I have to drop 2 divisions? Reporting goes so far and it won't return my points.

So here's what I suggest. If the person leaves the game and his team loses, HE takes 50% of the lost point from his team. It should accumulative too. Say, after we lose a game with rage quitter, I should lose 20 points, but instead, I lose only 10, and the other 10 takes this leaver guy. So roughly speaking, he takes a whooping 40 from our team, + his own 20 points. If he is at 0, then not only he drops one, but also loses said 60 points from the division he dropped to.

This way, a person who wants to leave and abondon his team will have to think thrice, before doing it. And if he does, his teammates don't have to suffer just as much. I know nothing of this sort will happen, and you can regard this whole post as a giant QQ (it is), but honestly, my point is, something has to be done.
