20 Seconds Is WAY too long for Pyke To Hold His Resets

Like, why does he get so insanely long to hold a RESET? It lasts nearly as long as his entire ultimate's cooldown late game, which makes no sense. His reset shouldn't last more than like 3-5 seconds each, 20 seconds is ridiculous.

Stupid thing to complain about. Just look at all the other champs that get to hold their resets for 20 seconds.

Gotta be like... 100 of them.

Pffft... right? I mean let’s just look, here.

There’s uh.... um... well.... what’s his face...

And that one guy...

Hmm..

You didn't really give a reason as to why it shouldn't be 20 seconds though. You just say "It makes no sense, let's nerf it", and then back it up with, well, nothing. I could care less if Pyke's reset was 1 second, or even a minute long, I just don't think you have an argument at all here.

100% agreed. An ultimate that can be chained, when it's as powerful as Pyke's, shouldn't be able to hold for too long. It should be a strategic decision when to use it. Hold it too long and he can just fling it around whenever someone's low.

If Pyke proves too strong after these changes, I think this would be a fair nerf. Maybe not as low as 3-5 seconds, but 10 seconds seems very fair to both him and his opponents.

Just another way for Riot to lower the skill gap and cater to bad players.

Pyke's creator, when this absurd abomination first came out: "Chasing the possibility of a pentakill on a support is awesome"

What else can you expect from this company? :D

Meanwhile Shyvana gets to be in ult form for what feels like 15 seconds (if you don't try to get her fury back up during ult).

It's to allow him to dip out of the fight for a minute, or travel to another fight if small skirmishes are going on, without wasting the ult entirely. It also doesn't start the cooldown until the reset drops either which is a major factor people overlook: holding an ult on Pyke can actually hinder your future ability to all in especially in early game laning when 20 seconds added to a cooldown is a big deal.

Because his entire damage and threat budget is in his ult. Youd have to give him far more damage on his kit or a 20s CD level 11 ult to do this

But guuuuuuuys. He can’t build hp, so even if his ult was a 99% be execute he can’t be broken...... ~ every Pyke player ever.

Is there really any surprise that the new Legendary lead of a skin line gets stupid buffs lol
