huge issue that makes it totally unfair for the losing jungler.

currently a jungler that is on the losing side and losing camps to the enemy jungler/laners is at the biggest disadvantage and becomes less impactful then a support atm.

why you may ask?

well remember when riot decided junglers should not be high on xp? because they did that, counterjungling became more common and riot was like yea we want this and most people i know are like, yea sure more activity in the jungle ah well w/e i don't main jungle anyway. ow and the current jungle timers... ow god...

but what does this do? it actually makes it so that the most punishing thing that can happen to your team is your jungler dying to a counterjungler like Udyr Nunu Kindred . why you may ask?

well here is why. if a laner dies he at worst loses maybe 2-3 waves but when he gets back to lane there is another wave right there waiting for him. So although you might lose a level you can still recover from that by playing defensive wait for lvl 6 and do an engage from which you are sure you can win. (usually with the junglers help)

however lets say I'm Sejuani jungler who is VERY vulnerable to counterjungling in the 1-3 levels. if she dies she doesn't just lose 1 level but 2 and also at least 2-3 camps plus a buff. now these camps take a while to spawn. so by the time you get to your other camps that respawn you get your lvl 4 and at that point any good counterjungler free ganks a lane. maybe gets a kill or flash taxes the lane a bit and is lvl 7... I have seen it multiple times this season.

and it just gets worse from there. you as a jungler have zero controll over your own lane at this point you will keep losing to their jungler and be totally starved from farming.

I honestly think that the level of snowballing that comes from counterjungling especially when coupled with the already low xp gains this season are far too big. season 4-5 when counterjungling was also a viable strat you had ways of coming back from losing 1 or 2 buffs now it feels like you can do literally nothing. it literally feels like you might as well have AFK'ed the first 5 levels cuz your team would have been better of and these elemental dragons did not make it better.

tl;dr this is not a rant about jungle champion balance but at the overall state of the jungle counterjungling is way to snowbally atm and you will lose your game/jungle at lvl 3 if you are up against a competent jungler he doesn't even need to be great at it, just pick the right champion for the job.
