Champion Selection

So I'm lvl 26 and on my quest to enter the Ranked phase of Gamplay. But so far I haven't found a champion that I'm comfortable with enough to main once I start playing ranked matches. I'm pretty decent with Tryndamere, Nasus, Ashe and Yi. I'm Saving up my ip(because I'm poor lol) to buy a new champion within the 4800 range I really like Nautilus and Hecarim for some weird reason and I'm not just going to buy Fizz because he's OP. So any suggestions. Would really appreciate it.

What role do you play or rather what role do you want to play. That matters quite a bit when choosing a champion.

for beginners nautilus is a good choice because he can play top, support, or jungle pretty well.
