Why does damage output have to be so high..?

I don't get it. There are so many ways to 100-0 everyone in this game. Teamfights are decided in like.. 5 seconds.. and it seems like there's only more and more increases in damage coming.

I mean, Luden's Echo has always been an item that confuses me. Why on earth did AP of all types of champions need an item that increased their burst? And then throwing thunderlords on top of that?

It's like.. play passive and farm for 20-30 minutes.. wait for someone to mess up.. snowball a bit.. then start 100-0'ing their team and it's over. Competitive games are decided in the first 10 minutes. It's so frustrating not being able to do anything to counter all these combos when the extent of microing in this game is moving left, right, back, and forth or flashing once every couple of minutes.

Game's gunna keep going in this direction until Riot pulls it back in. If they do. The game might go down before that happens.

Its 'fun' and 'flashy' to do a lot of damage, so that's the direction Riot will keep pushing it because their cash cows, aka casual players, are people who don't care if its balanced, as long as its easy, flashy, and 'fun'.

Because if there's no way to 100-0 someone you just threw an entire class of champions into the trash can.
