the changes lee sin really needs

before you even consider buffing him in other places, its finally time that he gets more punished for making mistakes.

1.) give him the 75% split of mark/dash. meaning a really long base cooldown on his q, like 20 seconds. that gets reduced by 75% when he follows up.

no more spamming the ability until he randomly hits something. if he misses entirely, the he has to deal with not having one of his mobility tools available for quite a while and is more susceptiple to aggression himself.

2.) this has been coming for a long time. deny him his passive when he misses his abilites or hits a lane minion. no more free attack speed and energy return for missing his abilities.

in short, he gets too little punishment for screwing up right now. missed the q? no problem, the cooldown on the thing is low enough, and its not like he pays in mana for it. he gets his passive, so he can hit a minion twice to recover energy and try again until he succeeds.

to this day, i dont understand why lee sin actually gets his passive for activating his abilities instead of hitting them. every other energy champion has his energy return tied to actually hit an ability. for shen its his e, its the same for zed. akali has to trigger the mark on her q.

this is not just concerning assassin lee in mid or top lane, but jungle lee sin the same. one of the reasons his ganks are so hard to avoid, is that he can miss his q and often still be able to pull off the gank by dashing on the minion next to you that he hit instead. if not his cooldown, he should at least lose his energy return and attack speed in that scenario.

lee sin needs larger windows of weakness, in case he gets outplayed for a change. and i think this would accomplish that.

then you can consider buffing him enough to be viable in solo que.
