What was the argument for Dynamic Queue not enforcing the meta?

I genuinely can't remember. League, as a GAME, puts 10 players on a huge map and allows them to interact with it however they want. That was part of the enjoyment I had when I was a new player.

Now that every game is simply Top, Mid, Jungle, Supp, Bot, there's no way to climb with any other playstyle. There are so many options we have as players to use the tools we have available to us to win a game, regardless of the means. With Dynamic Queue, this avenue of exploration is cut off from everyone who isn't a five-man premade. Eventually, it'll fail to provide the unique experience that everyone joined the game for. I don't see the value in that.

That is the new champion select and role selection system.

It has nothing to do with Dynamic Queue, apart from the fact that they were both launched at the same time.

Dynamic Queue is the ability to queue, for the same ranked queue, with teams of 1-5 players.

that has nothing to do with dynamic queue. confusion like this weakens the case against dynamic queue and hides legitimate concerns about ranked integrity which are independent of the game itself and rather a question of ethics and fairness. it doesn't even have to do with league of legends. A dynamic queue in any sort of matchmaking system for any sort of competition that is not strictly 1v1 is terrible.

Imagine badminton being "dynamic queue" where you had 2 singles players playing against a doubles team that worked together for years. Imagine soccer being random pro players vs. Real Madrid. It's going to be a stomp.
