IP To Blue Essence Upgrade Cost After Preseason (Can a Rioter confirm?)

I'm creating this post because I don't see any mention of this topic on either the NA or EUW boards. Essentially, will the cost to upgrade champion shards be equivalent to the cost of purchasing said champion with blue essence? Right now, a 6300 IP cost_to_purchase champion costs 675 Blue Essence cost_to_upgrade to a permanent. However, once preseason hits, will the cost_to_upgrade == cost_to_purchase (6300 BE for either) or will the two remain as they are now (675 BE to upgrade, 675 BE to purchase)?
