Up to three changes to fix Caitlyn traps
Cait traps are sometimes really irritating in an unfun, bad-for-the-game kind of way. So, I recommend up to three of these modifications to their behavior to help with this. I'm not saying all three, but some combination thereof:
- If a player has been affected by a trap recently, then instead of making them not trigger additional traps, let them run over additional traps with no effect. That way, a player can clear multiple traps quickly.
- Give a 3-second buff to players if a trap is placed such that the player will definitely trigger the trap. Make the player invisible to traps while that buff is active.
- Allow enemy turrets to 1-shot traps. Make them the lowest priority so that once a wave is cleared, the traps will be cleared. This allows them to be used as a tool during dives, but it makes the cait have to re-invest for her harass.
Again, I'm not saying to do all three things. I just believe that using one or two of those changes would basically keep traps from being overly oppressive while retaining the majority of their intended utility.
