Please remove Oracle's Elixir from ARAM. Please.
Oracle's is so cheap, and it fully eliminates a handful of champions' ability to utilize their kits. It's ridiculous. It would make sense to have it in SR where people choose their champs, but not in aram. Nothing like being dealt a stealth champ and being useless because the other team's tank first items oracle's and refreshes it the rest of the game.
Morellonomicon and other such items only debilitate your champ for a few seconds. Even ignite is a smart thing to have if the other team has Dr. Mundo or Swain. If ignite or Morello had an aura that lasted 5 minutes, I'd be singing a different tune. Oracle's effectively ruins the entire game for stealth guys. You can't just alter your build to compensate for having your abilities removed from your kit. You can't just "be better" and play to your fullest potential sans 2 abilities.
I'm not saying that there shouldn't be SOME counter to stealth. Bring back the sweeper, and remove its passive. Just make the active last longer. Working it into an actual item makes sense. It has other attributes that aid you while the active is on cd.
Maybe if it didn't reveal traps in bushes when you aren't even in them. What kind of bs is that!? I'd even be a lot more ok with it if it didn't reveal stealthed champions.
Those that think it's balanced simply because it costs gold and needs to be continually bought are stretching to justify a broken potion because they don't like to play against Teemo. The phrase "get good" comes to mind. Folks cry about Teemo being op in aram without oracle's, but what about Lux? Or Vel'koz? Or Xerath? Or Jayce? Can I have an item that only costs 300g, lasts 20% of the match, and removes one or two of their abilities too?
I understand that aram isn't designed to be balanced. It's just a fun thing. I get it. I love it! Just don't make it so easy and inexpensive to ruin it if someone gets Shaco.
or even
. I'm bad at Shaco though so there's that. I just have to change how I play. Shrooms can't be a never ending minefield for the opponent sure, but they're still useful. People still step on them even with oracle's on lol
