Sometimes it's better to stop digging for cs

Mid game and my team is behind.

I wrote down my deaths after this point, and they were often the result of the enemy deep warding and my team and I splitting up scrounging for cs in different corners of the map

The next time I was in this position, i just accepted what items and gold I had, then more or less waited for safe opportunities to present themselves.

What would you guys do in similar situations?
