It feels like he ABSOLUTELY need his Ult to have the same impact in teamfight as pre-rework Thoughts?

Just looking at the patch nones, not actually have played yet... It looks like a lot of his damage has been pushed to his passive and his ult and his q seems to allow him to sustain in mana better than before... my buddy mains velkoz so I'll wait to hear his thoughts first, but it just seems like u have to hit ur spells in sequence to really get the damage. But 100% scaling on his ult is indeed strong af

Given his ult is weaker by himself, since it doesn't stack the passive and you need to have hit your other spells before; and given his passive has a .4AP ratio for True Damage, on paper it looks like it's the contrary.

it looks like they are trying to push velkoz to a poke mage instead of a burst mage, altho he was already kinda a poke mage.
