So yeah, I just got demoted... for an afk who literally lost us the game. Our MF just randomly decides to leave and never come back. So despite going 19/8/6 as Veigar and no one on the enemy team actually having a positive kda I get demoted for literally no other reason than someone on our team getting d/ced and not reconnecting. I'm not mad that we lost, I just wish Riot would redo this ranked system to at least acknowledge individual performances and stop people from being demoted for not just having an afk but actually performing very well individually... sometimes it makes absolutely no sense.

It won't ever be like that because it is a team game and Riot wants it to be like that and not for people to play for KDA and not winning the game because they are farming their kda.

There must have been a huge crash of servers for LOL because I was doing fine in my game then 2 dc's and then I was at 500 ping till the end

It's not a big deal. If you truly belong in your original rank or above it, you should have no issue whatsoever in getting back there.

I know how it feels i had 2 games with 2 afks in each match but ofc the team decided to blame me, well the other 2 for no reason well idc but its just sad

You don't have to farm your KDA to get your KDA up. Well, maybe Jamaree does, but in general you do not. Sorry mate. Hope you can keep climbing and get to your goal this season. Ranked is pretty stupid during summer vacation. I dropped three divisions in a sitting last week. Riot though, does not care about our AFK or intentional feed or troll woes. They say an even dispersion of them makes it right. Don't buy RP until they do something about it. That's my only thought on that subject.
