The current state of Draven
Draven needs a buff, before you instantly down-vote or leave this page hear me out. After runes reforge Draven has dropped down to a 48% (From a 52% winrate) making him a very hit or miss champion to play right now. For simple reasons - (1) Draven doesn't have a keystone that works for his playstyle - Tons of ADCs were buffed with the new runes (Ezreal - MF - Vayne - Varus - Jhin - Caitlyn) - to name off a few. Since Draven doesn't have a keystone that works out for him he gets easily outscaled by these champions early on completely shutting him down till late game. (40 minutes in) Since most games don't last that long, he is useless the whole game because he took 1 bad trade and can't come-back from that. (2) Draven Passive Nerf - Back in patch notes 7.17 (("Passive - League of Draven ADORATION STACKS LOST ON DEATH 50% ⇒ 75% BASE GOLD ON CHAMPION KILL 50 ⇒ 25")) meaning he could be shut down a lot easier, (Which is understandable since back in 7.16 Draven was a complete monster with fervor) but, with the new keystone he is EASILY outscaled by Ezreal with a MONEY making rune (Kleptomancy) because that makes sense Riot. So... Draven has to sit back all game and farm up (Making his passive useless because if you go into a fight you get your head smashed in by an Alistar - Ezreal combo) Draven has to have a good Jungler and support to actually do something in the game. (3) The buff Draven needs - First of all Draven needs his passive back ((Adoration stacks lost on death 50% - Base champion kill 50)) secondly he needs more early game damage or a keystone that provides consistent damage. Draven's playstyle is go in get several hits off and back out. With new runes it forces Draven out of his comfort zone by making him wait (x) amount of seconds to go in and only get off 1 auto attack and back off, which Makes trades a lot harder to win. Right now, Draven in his current state is not good and a lot of other Draven mains share this opinion with me - If you want to hear other people's opinion instead of mine or want to learn more about draven. I recommend going to r/Draven on reddit. Thank you to everyone that took the time to read my opinion on the current state of Draven - RUN DOWN DRAVEN (NA)
