Why can't I refuse Kalista's Oathsworn?

So I haven't played much League in a while, I get on to get a simple win of the day bonus in a bot game, and someone picks this Kalista champion.

She throws this spear on the ground, and suddenly I'm her Oathsworn. Never had any say in the matter. I'm kind of whatever about it at first because I don't really know what it means.

I get kind of annoyed in lane because it's hard for me to get any kills on the bots because she's so good at securing them for herself. I try to focus on last hitting instead because I want some gold so I can buy things and have my own fun. That's when I notice she's getting the credit for everything I last hit...

OKEE DOKEE. That's when I decide I'm just gonna go somewhere else so I can maybe have SOMETHING.

But then she's like, "Nuh uh" and summons me right back to her.

WHAT IS THIS BULL**** CHAMPION?

WHY RIOT? WHY?

Can I please have the option to choose NOT to be Oathsworn? Can I please have the option NOT to be summoned?

Ummmmm....because if it was a REAL game, like in normals & such, then you're not suppose to take cs & kills? Not every champion changes has to relate to a bot game here.

Btw, when you got pulled in by Kalista's ult, it is your decision to choose where you want to throw yourself at, dude. She pulled you back? Just shoot yourself back to where you came from then!

Would be nice. Once I played Trynd top, Kalista followed me and forced me to take Oathsworn.

Needless to say, whenever we were teamfighting I died.

Her ult range is less than a screen and has a long cooldown, and she only gets credit for your last hit if she hit it right before you to proc her cooperation ability. Realistically there is no reason to be able to deny kalista her passive since 99% of the time you will be her support receiving it and refusing it would deny you an ult botlane as well as one of her damaging abilities.

Got Ryze in an ARAM game a while ago and got soul bound to a Kalista who kept ulting me to deny kills, it didn't even give me the option to refuse. I thought it was a glitch at the time, this really needs to be changed.

You can reject it... if you burn a flash AND have a good dash in your kit AND she didn't do it as soon as you spawned in the fountain

RIot even said in their preview article for Kalista that there would be a way to deny being her Oathsworn when she targets you. The fact that there isn't is therefore either a bug since release or an outright lie in her preview.
