A simple QOL change to crit chance runes
TL DR: _A modest request, just want to be able to reach 13.5% crit chance with 2 quints and 9 marks. I'm providing this method but I'm be happy with whatever riot settles on so long as I can reach 33.5% with triforce. _
Introducing Half Scaling runes for special stats:
- 0.35 per level up to level 9. Totalling 2.8% @ level 9.
Flat marks are actually pretty cost effective atm. If crit marks were valued at the same value as ad marks they would be worth 0.875%. on the other hand if they were as cost effective as attack speed marks they'd be valued at 1.06%. In fact if critical strike chance quints were proportionate to Attack speed crits they would be valued at 2.7% crit, this would solve my problem instantly but of course they would be too cost effective.
If the devs are okay with the 0.95% that's fine too. Though If you were to revise crit chance marks to coincide with recent changes to crit items in general perhaps settling on 0.9% crit per mark would be fair enough. The suggested crit quints would sort of cancel this out. And quints I feel should be at the very least be equal to marks if not more.
Reason to reach that sweet spot:
I aim to reach 33.5% crit chance with 9 marks and 2 quints. Because 1 in 3 hits is 33.34% chance and this is a good value for this game given the duration of trades/ fast pace nature of the game. Riot's numerous champions with 1 in 3 auto interactions can attest to this.
To synergize with the new
To do this as sensibly as possible I settled on having scaling to lvl 9.
same could be done for other unique stats like spellvamp perhaps. Stats that if it was full scaling would be op, but underwhelming if just flat.
We have scaling ad and ap, why no scaling crit chance, if just partially. :(
