Reporting & Ranked.

So just to put this out there, I just hit lvl 30 this week. I play support with main, when I have to I can jungle. As of this writing, I'm 2-4 in placing matches, with a 153 teamwork rating (Yay green ribbon!). In my 6 games so far in ranked I have reported 4 players for the following:

• Player AFK on enemy team.
• Teammate calling everything "Gay" including me and my fellow teammates.
• Teammate bluntly requesting me to "Stop playing LoL and die" after 9 mins in bot lane was down 25 cs and had 2 deaths.
• Teammate admitting to want to practice with as ADC in ranked matches, fully expecting to lose as he plays for ADC. (After realizing game was going to be a loss anyways, I requested the other team to let him practice. They complied, apologies were given by/to both sides)

Is ranked play always this toxic? I remember reading about reporting people and that the more you report, the less it actually matters. I would like to play LoL competitively, but how am I supposed to take actual "ranked" play seriously when I get queued with "ADC or Feed", people who have never drafted before and players that are more toxic than ?

I really do enjoy playing this game. I would like to continue playing this game competitively. I just feel like I'm wasting not only my time, but those who are playing as well when players like this happen. If possible, PLEASE FIX THIS.
