Just because I have a sightstone and a Sweeper lens doesn't mean you can stop placing wards. Vision allows picks and safe movement/rotations. If you have a Welfare Ward off cooldown find a major pathway that isn't warded and hit that 4 button. The words "You're the Support why don't you ward up the gank paths to my (mid) lane" should not be seen. A good Support is going to be warding drag area, entrances to river, and maybe defensive/offensive jungle spots. That's at least 3 wards right there never mind if they are clearing and pinks.

If you are getting camped hard and or have died more then once, if the enemy jungler recently ganked and you have no flash/heal/barrier/exhaust/tp Buy and Place a WARD

This is why I prefer not to play support. Because if I'm mid or top or adc, I know we have at least 2 people warding on our team.

I don't think you'll find anyone on this forum who'd disagree with you. The problem is reminding people in game of this. Riot needs to add "Hey, buy wards, even if you're not a support" into the game. That, or encourage all laners to buy sightstones.

I've gotten into the habit of buying Sightstone as Vladimir (after rushing Will of the Ancients) should my team need/lack the vision, especially if the Support has not yet obtained one. At least he can benefit slightly from the HP boost the stone offers. And at the start of every game, I buy a Pink if I have enough Gold left over, Support or otherwise.

My games are like: I place 13 wards, 4 pinks, not including trinket wards unless fully upgraded. My support places 3 wards and just one pink. Everyone else places one ward at best, and no pinks. Enemy team places 4 wards in total and one pink, all from their support.

Maddening.

Oh god. I don't even play summoner's rift often because my computer is faaar too much of a toaster, but it irritates me to no end when I do play as support and my entire team has warding totems. And what do they do? Hang on to them for the entire game, put maybe one or two wards down total. =___= I mean, seriously? If they have them, they should at least put them down.

Buying wards would be helpful too. lol. :/

I honestly like the lack of wards over on Dominion. Situational awareness is far more important and the only way to control the jungle is with a strong team presence.

It makes me wonder what Rift would be like if there simply weren't any wards. My guess is that in higher level play everything would get super defensive and conservative since you never know who might be lurking in that shrub. Clairvoyance would likely get a lot more popular. Low level play probably wouldn't change that much due to 'lolwards'.

They should just make the free ward blow up and kill the champ if he doesn't use it in X amount of time when it's off cooldown. At the very least you will know who isn't placing wards.

the player that should get vision should be the jungler since he's roaming support don't roam meaning no vision except in bot lane/river since their main job is to keep their lane partner alive

each person, even with a item 2049 , can only place 3 item 2044 and 1 item 2043 . So if everyone can at lease buy 1 pink and place it somewhere, that would help so much better. I mean, it's just 100 gold to buy the stupid thing.

Unless i'm wrong about placing more that 1 pink, of course. I can't really remember if you can have more than 1 pink on the map by each teammate.

Jungling is a TEAM OBJECTIVE.

Just because I have a hunter's machete and Smite doesn't mean you can stop controlling the jungle. Controlling the jungle allows us to keep our buffs, protects the jungler and allows control of the dragon, the baron and the river. If you have time, take a detour by the jungle and make sure the enemy jungler isn't stealing our buffs. The words "You're the jungler why don't you control the jungle and gank our lanes" should not be seen. A good jungler is going to be controlling buffs, counter-jungling and ganking.. That's at least 3 onjectives right there never mind if they are counter-jungling and trying to gank lanes.

If you are getting counter jungled hard and or the enemy team got the dragon more than once, if your jungler had to take his time to go babysit a lane or gank your lane Go and control the JUNGLE

A friendly reminder from a jungler to a support:

If you have a sightstone, use it.

If it's past 20:00 and I die a really stupid death, I usually look at the map, notice zero wards, press tab, and confirm that the fully charged sightstone says 0/3 wards placed. I then tab every 30 seconds or so, and the sightstone will continue to say 0/3 wards placed for the next 10-15 minutes, and then I will finally say something in chat.

I tried out smite the other day and the setup they have is 6 regular item slots and 2 separate slots for consumables, so even when full build people can still buy wards, kinda wish league had this, also the designated potion slot is pretty nice late game

I hope the price reductions on the trinket ward upgrades (450 gold - 250 gold) encourage people to ward more often. I, for one, will be placing pink wards EVERYWHERE. Well, two of them anyway.

The changes are still on the PBE, but here's to hoping.
