Akali Zoe Neeko Sylas Zac Malphite Ekko are some good AP burst champs.

Most AP assassins and mages have enough burst to kill an adc.

Fizz Zed Talon come to mind. Zed and Talon are AD based, but they focus heavily on ability use over raw auto attacks.

Fizz and Talon are broken as f*ck right now and for that reason they're the only assassins really worth playing. It's not like other assassins can't kill stuff, but they have significantly more counterplay than the ones I mentioned.

Most AP mids can one-shot an ADC at most stages of the game, but I like Kassadin . Whether going a scaling build with fleet footwork or looking for snowballing with electrocute.

He also happens to be the best-scaling assassin in the entire game.
