What`s the point of SUPPORT ONLY champions ???

I just wanna know why most of the supports picks are literally denied of playing any position other than a support one while many champions who are supposed to be mid/top/jungle are allowed to play a support? Whats the point ? Why having such a discrimination ? Why you dont let leona or blitz in the jungle (with proper balancing their kits, of course) ? Why Pyke cant go top or mid ? Whats the problem with Janna mid ? Or braum jungle/top ? Whats wrong with Rakkan mid ? Why you make those ONLY SUPPORT champions while you know that role is just illogical and the most hated ? But still champions who are supposed to be the mid picks can freely play as a support ( Morgana, Lux, Vel Koz, Zyra, Brand, Orianna, Xerath), some jungle/top picks can play it as well (Trundle, Nautilus, Maokai, Malphite, Sion) but champions who were made to be supports are hardcore denied of going anywhere outside of that role( with a little exception for niche picks like Tahm or Lulu or Karma but still when they can play it they`re either way too op for abusing something or you hard nerf them soon to stay in the support zone). I see no logical reasons behind all of this, I think you should generally remove the support only role and rework all those champions who belong in it.

A lot of supports used to go into lane Soraka Janna Lulu but their gameplay was completely degenerate, soraka would walk into lane, spam starfall (which used to just hit everything around her on cast) and permashove while having top tier sustain and could silence you whenever you tried to contest her push on the wave

Janna would just charge her tornado from under tower and clear the whole wave without ever looking at the enemy, she didnt even need to leave fog of war

Lulu was the defacto best champion in the game for a long time, top tier wave clear, super easy to use/super hard to dodge harass, impossible to engage on

Alistar used to ne able to jungle but he could consistantly lvl 2 towerdive

Supports going to lanes isnt like outlawed by riot, Nami and Bard can go mid and do it just fine, its only in specific circumstances where the gameplay is complete ass that it gets nerfed out

Hi guys it’s me, Karma mid. And I’d like to tell you about the hell ive been through tryIng to come even remotely close to mid lane. Since the start of the season I have been the WORST mid lane pick and one of the worst support picks, and still revived a nerf to my shield duration with no immediate compensation. After a little less than a month of being unplayable and the lowest winrate in all of my viable lanes (even beating Ryze support in low WR) Riot gave me a slight power shift, (but not a direct buff). And now I’m only the 5th worst support. . . Still the worst mid laner though. Help. Please.

cuz most of the things in their kits support their adc's, if rakan is mid, he completely loses his E

if braum is top/jg, he loses a great part of his W

leona's E wont even work on monsters

pyke can go top and mid perfectly fine

lux, velkoz, zyra, brand, orianna, xerath were meant to be mid. but they work support.

after all that's your opinion, but the idea of reworking every support to make that champ viable in other lanes is just bad.

Consider than most of them were released when there was no whine about any"huehue adc op huehuesupports op Hueheu no freedom"

Hence full supps were meant to be bot
