New Controls? Ctrl Walking Problem

I don't know if it's something with a patch, but recently after I press CTRL and taunt an enemy that's chasing me, it doesn't let me press to walk until I let go of the CTRL button. I didn't know why it started doing this and this seems very unnecessary, nothing was wrong without this unneeded change. I thought I was lagging the first few times it happened, Riot stop updating useless stuff like this for fu*ks sake. [zombie-brand-facepalm]
