Is there something going on with Kennen? (Probably Items??)

Hello errybody.

Before starting with this topic I would like to invite you to check the results of the game (Even the replay that I'll put in the links below)

Kennen's passive; stuns when stacks up to three times, but can be refreshed while he uses his ult. Definetely he might be really dangerous in teamfights (Naturally that is what assassins are made for). However, I have found that his damage resulted to be shocking with just having item 3157 item 3020 item 3152 on his build. Also I am conscious that there were carries as opponents so they've got deleted since they have no MR/Armor at that time. But, I found it spooky since Kennen has already abilities that may stun multiple times his opponents (Even in group at once due to his ultimate's AoE) and to cap it all off he deals burst AP damage.

Don't know if you feel just like I do, but it is overwhelming to handle such damage even in the first minute. I know the key is all about dodging his Q multiple times and staying far from his range. In spite of following such rules, he had the ability to harrass me even staying close to the turret. I have brought someone that thankfully could handle that damage but however he has been about to kill me many times (Had to recall, as a consequence his CS got a lot bigger than mine. I felt really lost there).

So, what do you think? Is it just me? Or is there a problem with Kennen? Or probably one with the new AP items? Maybe both?

Thank you for listening and have a good day!

I was actually under the impression that Kennen has been worst-off since the mid-season mage update. That his damage was significantly lower since AP was reduced on several items.

He seems relatively strong still, but playing against him is really about just avoiding all the stuns so that he can't burst you down.

Also several early MR items have slightly lower resistances than in the past, which may make him feel a bit more oppressive earlier.

Kennen been OP since Graves had a cigar. He has ridiculously high damage early that he uses to snowball and he has a good escape. Then again, people will just tell me I'm bad and say Kennen's underpowered and downvote while when someone else says it they'll up vote and agree so just ignore me.

Yeah, his damage is insane, and his (E) Lightning Rush is also pretty crazy.

Along side with Liss, I think of Kennen as that Engage mage. They engage like a tank, but trade the tankyness for higher amount of damage. (thus the rely on Hourglass for survival.) But compared to Liss, Kennen probably has a tad more damage while Liss has more CC and lock down.

I haven't really seen Kennen in a while personally, But Id argue that he's designed to do damage.
