why am i being set up for failure before in champion select, like the ranks dont even match. You are telling me that the matchmaking system couldnt find 9 other gold 3-4 players they had to put silvers on my team and a plat on the other team? wtf?

I've had the same but won. Don't worry about your teammates' ranks. Like, the person on your team that actually looks like he lost you that game was teemo. And he was one of the G5 players on your team. Personally I think what lost you that game was a terrible teamcomp. You had useless teemo and talon.
Can you post the threads you created where you advocated that match making has a problem when the tier advantage was in your favor? I see you won twice against lower elo players, but complain when you lose once. Yep, not fair at all - Riot will take those two wins away and wipe out your one loss, you're welcome!
I find people only complain about match making when it doesn't run in their favor. Sometimes you'll be against higher elo opponents to check your skill and see if you're ready to ascend, you showed you weren't. Fed Ryze and no one built an MR item... but this is Gold elo? Goodness...
Hey i am not ranked yet i am being matched with gold's and plats. However i don't let that stuff bother me and just play to the best of my ability. In fact i welcome the challenge facing tougher opponents will make your a way better player in the long run. If you get outplayed and stomped take it as a lesson, and try and learn what you could do better next time. You wouldn't be mad if you were matched with doublelift, aphromoo, berg, zion, rush.
Take into account that because of the new season, there are probably plat players in silver ELO climbing (this goes for other elos respectively). The matchmaking is based on your hidden MMR stat, not rank.
