How are afk matches in rank still able to count as a lost in season 6? Lyte?

Still don't understand Lyte promise to address this issue last year and nothing to show for it. Other~~~!!!!! then a new post saying matches with afk will not count SOOON< Might take a year to be release in rank.

I really just don't understand that it has been over 4 years that this game was made and still players a stuck with this type of issue that should had been fixed in season 2/3.
