Ever since the end of the 2014 season, I have been winless from the red side, and undefeated from the blue side in all of my pvp matches. This is a sample size of more than 40 games, so this is beyond the point of a random statistical anomaly at this point. (More than half of those games have been with the same 5 people, who were all in the same room!!!) Is there any kind of bias, or other technical reason this would happen?
Honestly I think it's a coincidence. There are some slight disadvantages of the red side, like the HUD blocking a small portion of the bottom of the screen, and the location of the dragon.
LOL I got lots of downvotes when I mentioned in maps and modes that blue side was winning 80% of my games.
I have about even wins for both sides. Honestly I might have a higher win ratio on red side because red side toplane is a lot easier for me.
The blue side does win around 54% of the time, However matchmaking does general put players with the higher mmr on the red side. I think for you it might be a bit of a coincidence.
Maybe there's less teams in premades so the gap between MMRs is larger. Since it tries to favor 1 side a little in MMR the result would be one side almost always wins. I don't play 5 man premades but that's my best guess.
Um. Actually this is true for me too, Bad losing streak yesterday, the at the end of the night got switched to the otherside and won all of my matches.
