How is it possible that a malzahar can build 40% cdr and have his ulti up every 40 second?

i think that its is complete (excuse my french) bullshit that this can happen.

i know there are ways around it and such like to build a quick silver sash and use that evey time the floating bastard decides to spit dope rhymes at you with that ult. but if you cant fit it into your build or its simply just not a good item to fit into your build.

in my opinion there needs to be more ways to escape his ult and/or a strong nerfing done to his ult to the point where he has to get you with all of his skills and his ult to do some real damage.

really i just hate the shit outta this guy and want his ass nerfed and banned so often hes useless

Stick with your team. If he ults you in the middle of your team, he's going to die instantly. HE GETS SUPPRESSED TOO.

The counterplay to his ult is not playing like an idiot.

It's not possible, it caps at 48 seconds.

Also, if you've fallen far enough behind him by the time he's built 40% CDR so that you can't contest him with range or your own burst, don't fight him alone. It's usually bullshit when people say just group up on one person who has burst, but Malzahar stuns himself at a decently close range and actually can have his damage interrupted.

his ult is any different from a stun how? its really not the worst thing ever, even on a 40 second CD

Potential cd and practical cd is a different thing. Altough it can be pushed down as little as 48 seconds , it's hardly belivable that he'll be able to use it asap it comes off cooldown.

malzahar has been nerfed so much so often anyone that has trouble playing against him is just not playing smart. He was easy to defeat before the nerfs. Now it is insanely easy to destroy him. His ult suppresses him just as long. It doesn't do damage it self any more (the pool used to be his w, and voilings spawn every third cast). Riot nerfs the living daylights out of champions that need buffing, and buffs the daylights out of the burst champs that all need nerfing.
