CHANGE TO PBE IS NEEDED!

Personally I have some ideas to what may be flawed about the PBE but they may not be correct so please add your ideas below.

I think everyone playing this game knows that RIOT puts patches through PBE (Public Beta Environment) in an attempt to shore up any issues that accompany changes. However, at the current state, PBE is what I like to call "acclimation phase." This is where players get to have fun with the new champions and other changes, softening a player's mental state for the assault of bugs and other game play issues. THIS IS NOT WHAT WE WANT. ISN'T THAT WHAT PBE WAS MADE TO PREVENT?

-------->Here are my ideas of improving PBE.

  1. PROVIDE A CONVENIENT WAY OF COMMUNICATION Allow players to type feedback directly to the editors. If someone finds an issue worth reporting, it won't be cast off by thinking, "It's probably just a one time thing." It could be something as simple as a prompt that pops up after every PBE game with the same outline that posts on the Board here requires. If players do not have anything to report, then they can just click to exit out of that screen.

  2. ENCOURAGE PROPER TESTING Many times now, issues surface in release during ranked games or normal games where there aren't mirrored champions on both sides. Why is that? And why couldn't PBE uncover the same issues? Like I said above, PBE is where people have fun. They try to only play champions with changes. THIS IS AN ISSUE. Bugs occur in specific interactions but with mirrored matches every single PBE game, you have the same interactions. Nothing new happens because nothing new is being tried. Encourage citing of time stamps. Encourage descriptive writing with champions involved with the specific issue.

Recent bugs due to lack of variety pick. *A recent patch had not given explicit changes to Quinn. But somehow her ulti became a toggle. No one found out for a week. And if no one played her at all in PBE which is likely because she didn't receive direct changes, it is not found until the patch is released.

*Around every 5 new patches an indirect that occurs to Shaco's boxes. It becomes unsmiteable. If PBE was more diligent such reoccurring issues can be prevented.

Come on guise. "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." -Albert Einstein

Thankyou to friend Hong for giving ideas of recent bugs.
