then don't play Senna? she is meant to be a mix of support and ADC... there are countless other champions that provide heals and shields so use them. Why should Senna change to fit YOUR needs?

Or you can just not freak out so much over getting kills as a support. Besides, if your ADC falls into despair in the middle of the game, then what? The support has to be able to pick up that slack.

why does riot have to tailor senna specifically just for you?

No. This is 2019. Riots game philosophy is All damage Only damage Forever damage Amen.

She's for marksmen who get stuck in support fill not support mains so she can do shit ton of damage easily. For what she gets she should have a lower base hp pool than unmounted kled but no this shit is gonna hit live doing tons of damage and hard to kill.

Her damage isn't exactly high until really late game or if REALLY fed.

Furthermore, both her heals and shield scale to her offense (Heal to AD/AP, R to Souls captured), so it's really not like both objectives don't line up.

For what it's worth: Grasp of the Undying Senna is viable, can take Font of Life/Rejuvenate, and Bone Plating.

if you dont want the damage, you are playing the wrong champ my friend.

hurricane senna is viable since more aa targets=more souls. 2ndly she does need more ap ratios for the defense side of her to justify taking enchanter items like item 3174 thats my cup of tea on it.

Damage is weaker of a stat than healing and shields in terms of power, so a champion with a clear mix of both taking up the same spell slot will have a natural affinity for the more offense than the defensive one, just because it takes up less design power, at least in terms of raw numbers.
