Nobody -- Riot included -- thinks blind is a good experience. But there are a lot of people who don't want to spend 10+ minutes getting into game, and they depend on blind right now. Let's fix that.

"New Blind Pick" works like this:

1. Create a lobby and invite friends
2. Put in your queue information, including:

• Preferred roles (like draft)
• The champ you want to play
• One ban. You may not ban the champion of anyone in your lobby.

3. Lobby leader starts the queue. Matchmaking forms teams so that nobody in your group of 10 has selected the champion that someone else has banned. No mirror matches.
4. Accept the match and enter champ selection. All 10 bans are pre-selected. You can see your allies' champs but not your enemy's.
5. There's 15 seconds for you to change your champ to fit in better with your team's comp, then champs lock in and the enemy team comp is revealed.
6. There's 25 seconds for you to change runes and masteries, then the game starts.
