Akali Rework Idea
going to jump right into the changes I've had in mind, I will tell you the changes out of order. (note that the general damage of Akali will be lowered in this rework, similar to Malz rework) | | R (Shadow Dance): Similar, but a few things are worth noting. the recharge time is removed allowing her to jump between targets VERY quickly. she cant jump to the same target for 3 seconds (like Yasuo e). can no longer jump to ally minions, but can jump to allied champions. Her play style will be a little more hit and run. This will allow her to jump on an enemy, damage them / set up a kill. then quickly jump to an ally for safty
Passive (Twilight Shroud): when you kill an enemy, minion or monster a small version of her old w will be placed on the dead body (larger on champ kills) This will be her main defense in lane while she is still weak. killing a few minions will leave Akali a small area where she can hide in the middle of the lane. this will also be useful for an all-in because killing your opponent will grant you time to get near an ally to escape or time to wait for you're CDs
Q (Mark Of The Assassin): now a skill shot that passes through minions. activating the mark will also stun for about 1 second. Damage on activating the mark is reduced. Use this effectively in team fights by throwing it out, ulting to the target to stun them, then quickly jump back to an ally for safty.
W (After Light): lock on ability, once it hits the target it will wait 2 seconds then deal damage. If you activate you're Q's mark on the same target the damage is dealt instantly with 30% magic pen _Simple ability. can be cast during you're ult's jump to increase combo speed. _
E (Crescent Slash): Deals damage in a small cone (similar to Kass e). all targets hit have your ult timer removed, allowing you to ult them again. casting this ability puts a 3 second timer on all your allies, preventing you from jumping to them This is you're highest damaging ability, but 1) slows down your combo a little. And 2) removes your escape. This ability is only used when it is safe to commit to a kill. it grants high damage and allows you to ult your target again, perfect for an all in | | Remaining Notes: This rework idea puts much more power on team fights, and reduces the massive damage she dealt before. when ahead she will still 1 shot. but it is much more fair as the combo will both be slower but also makes it harder to make her way out so she must be safe when she all-ins. Her E adds more decision making to the kit as it is very risky to use in many situations. When you can quickly burst an opponent in the middle of a fight, you will also gain the safety of you're passive's shroud, while invisible you must decide to go further in and push up to kill more enemies, or jump back to an ally.
