Calling now, Zoe will be the new Azir Release

WiegrafOfValor·11/6/2017, 8:01:43 PM·1 votes·828 views

The first week after release, 37~40% winrate plus several posts on the front page asking for buffs. The second week Riot buffs Zoe, and she gets to 50%.

One month later players figure out how to play her and nuke the sht out of everyone with her Q and then everyone calls her OP until riot gut her to oblivion.

All that can be avoided by not listening to the board for her first week or so, banning new champions from ranked for 2 weeks and wait for at least a month collecting data before even consider buffing or nerfing newly released champions.

Really it comes from Reddit too. Really it was the same with Kayn. Champion was fine and people either called for buffs or nerfs. Happens every time with every champion. I really hope she doesn't come out of this broken.

as i seen from the videos of her .. she requires some kinda of a skill to be played so she is going to be something like ryze

I find her kit underwhelming for a midlane mage based on my first impression.

Her Q does more damage the longer it travels in a straight line (which also makes it piss easy to avoid if the player goes for max-dmg). Her W is a new ability, need to test it before complaining. Doesn't look like an ability you'll use that much. Her E can be blocked by minions (think Blitz' Rocket Grab) iirc.

And I still don't know how you'd utilize her ult effectively.

It comes down to testing, but my first impression was: "The skills sound nice, but underwhelming."
