6300 IP

How many games do you need to play to farm up enough to buy one champion? The answer is: Way too many.

I think the way pricing works needs to be completely redone. Why would one champion cost 450 and another cost 6300? It almost implies that the more expensive champion must be "better" than the cheaper one.

I suggest that all the champions should have an equal but variable cost. The variation will depond on how many champions you already own.

For example, if you own zero champions, your first champion would cost for example 450, regarles of which one you buy. But then your second champion will cost maybe 600, again it doesn't matter which one. It only matters that you already own one, so the second one cost the next increment in price. And so on.

With this way it would be easier for new players to get going, and the cost would ramp up as you gain more experience and want to exand your champion pool, while at the same time not pigeon-holing you into only buying the cheap ones that you might not want to play, but feel forced to play because that's all you can afford.

Usually, the champions that cost the most are hard to play. I wouldn't wanna have a AurelionSol on a first time league player. I do agree 6300 is a lot, but I wouldn't implement a scaling IP system like you mentioned.

I don't believe difficulty determines price, otherwise Sona would be 450 and LeeSin would be 6300.

I agree with you on the "these champs are too expensive", as someone who has a bunch of champs I want, but I have a hard time saving up for them because I just tend to buy the cheapest champs, however, scaling the price by number of champions you have isn't the way to go about this. The numbers you gave, 450 to 600, would imply a scaling of 150 ip, per champ you own. By your 10th champ, you are in the 2000's. By your 20th(the required number for ranked and draft), you are buying champs at prices above 4000. Buying all of the 450's, and a chunk of 1350's is quicker to fill your champ numbers. Though, in general, a locked scaling of ip is never going to make it cheaper.

My solution, simply lower all the prices a tier. Have just released champs be 6300, then 4800, and so on. Considering a lot of champions have been out a long time, and that older players who have played long enough to be getting to that point of buying the more expensive champs, it would easily allow more experienced players to fill up their roster with champs that they'd like to try because they understand the game better, while making sure the expensive champs are still a small grind for. As someone who's having to buy 3150's now, I'd love a drop in price so I could get access to more champions, as even grinding to 3150 is draining.
