Just my account to show I play a lot of TT. Personally, I may not be of the highest elo (Gold3) but hyper-meta isnt that oppressive, its just low-effort high reward playstyle and needs to be changed. Most of the community over at /r/LOLTwistedTreeline, The Shadow Isles Discord, or whatever community you find is agreeance all the way up the ladder to challenger hates it. It's stale, boring, and just not interactive. The only people who don't like it is Support mains on 3's.

The hyper ends up getting 3-4 levels above everybody, ends the games with 6-10k gold more than the enemy, has a super easy smite advantage on vile, and unless you can shut them down early game or last to 6 items. Then you just pick CC tanks that dont need gold income. It's damn near impossible to beat unless you run hyper yourself, which is already hard to do on pickup games. Most of us are forced to run Solo just prevent getting matched vs 3 mans, or we have to run 3 man ourselves.

Maybe im not the voice of TT that can express the community's opinion the best, but join the discord and ask players themselves, Im sure plenty of them could explain better than I.
